                                ORDINANCE NO. 9631
                  
                  
                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHATTANOOGA CITY CODE,
                   PART II, SECTIONS 31-36, 31-37, 31-41, AND
                   31-43 RELATIVE TO SEWER SERVICE CHARGES AND
                   FEES.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that Chattanooga City Code, Part II, be
       amended as follows:
       	    	 SECTION 1.  That Section 31-36(a) be amended by deleting
       the table therein and substituting the following table:

       	    	 SECTION 5.  That Section 31-41 be amended by deleting
       $0.084 and substituting in lieu thereof $0.083 as the rate for

       and by deleting $0.055 and substituting in lieu thereof $0.053 as 

       the rate for Sc.
       	    	 SECTION 6.  That Section 31-43(b) be amended by deleting
       "seventy-five dollars ($75)" and substituting in lieu thereof
       "seventy-seven dollars and 16 cents ($77.16)."

       	    	 SECTION 7.  That Section 31-43(e) be repealed and
       Sections 31-43(f), (g) and (h) be renumbered, respectively, as
       Sections 31-43(e), (f) and (g).
       	    	 SECTION 8.  That Section 31-43(f) {formerly 31-43(g)} be
       amended by deleting "eighteen dollars and sixty cents ($18.60)"
       and substituting in lieu thereof "nineteen dollars and 14 cents
       ($19.14)."
       	    	 SECTION 9.  That this Ordinance shall become effective
       two (2) weeks from and after its passage as provided by law, but
       that the operative dates of the changes in rates specified herein 

       shall be July 1, 1991.
